Shane McNamara

Shane McNamara is an emerging young talent at LSP. Shane began his career in post production and film equipment hire. At this point he started making short films and testcommercials proving Shane had a flair for not only creative ideas and concepts, but would see the project through to delivery. With a passion for striking imagery and post production techniques, Shane creates work that blurs between the real and the imaginary.

For those who don’t know, our own Shane McNamara has a paralel career as a DJ and music producer. So when his mates at Toolroom Records asked him to come up with a video for Reuben Keeney, Shane felt that this track will be one of those summer dance-hits and he accepted their request.Toolroom Records latest release comes courtesy of teenage sensation Reuben Keeney and lyricist Glenn Rosborough with ‘Give It Some Time’.

Reiss titled this photoshoot The Blonde, as they dwelled on figure and cultural significance of The Blonde for the third edition of their journal. We're not sure what the results of this meditation were but Shane McNamara was there to shoot a cool video. And that's exactly what he did.

While were travelling Europe for some work, we had the chance to catch a train from Amsterdam to Paris via Roterdam, Antwerp, Brussels. McNamara with nothing else to do decided to shoot this in what became the music video for unreleased track “spf100” by artist Holy Cow.
